The Collection

Sure, I have read MAD since I was still nursing. But the person who was the biggest influence on me (as far as my MAD passion goes) was my cousin Dick, the late Richard Pecze. A visit to my Aunt Alice and Uncle Vic's  home would mean an immediate trip to Dick's room to grab his stack of MADs. While the other kids were outside, I was INSIDE with his beloved MADS. Cousin Dick, a teenager at the time, sure put up with a lot with  pesky kid rummaging through his bedroom. It is for this reason that  I have named this collection the "Richard G. Pecze Memorial MAD Collection". Thanks Dick!

In 2001, the collection was sold.
